6 Banned Foods

7 Banned Foods (in other countries)

#1 In Singapore chewing gum is banned and cannot be bought or sold unless a doctor gives it to you. It was banned because of vandals putting it on the door sensors of monorails, floors, sidewalks, elevator buttons, and inside keyholes.

#2 The French Government banned ketchup from all school cafeterias and universities. This is because they don't want kids ruining French cuisine with the American condonement..... but they can only use it on french fries.

#3 While New York tried to ban giant soda drinks, Mississippi decided to ban the law of banning large soda drinks. Therefor saying that citizens diets aren't a concern of the government but their own....yet they have the highest obesity rating in the country.

#4 While America finds horse as companions or pets, other countries like Mongolia and China, etc. eat them all the time. Well by the 1920's was the official stop of all overall horse meat being manufactured for eating in the U.S. and UK.

#5 As sassafras is mainly made for flavoring in root beer it was later banned because it was found to have a compound that can give you cancer. Yet some say only entire plant gives you cancer and not the roots, you can still find some beers with just the root oils. (In Iraq)

#6 The final food is watermelon and it is banned in... Indiana, but only in parks as the outer shell of it has broken plenty of trash bags making lots of messes.

 # 1 Food: Century Egg
      Smells Like: Sulfur & Ammonia

The first food is one I already talked about and it is the Century Egg from China and is cured from ash, salt, clay, quicklime, and rice hulls. The Ammonia smell was so bad people thought they were soaked in horse urine... they aren't.

#2 Food: Natto
Smells Like: Pungent Cheese & Old Socks

This food actually has health benefits from the compound Pyrazine which can help stop blood clots.

 #3 Food: Hongeo
     Smells Like: Urine

This is a South Korea food that people say is like "Licking a Urinal" because the fish has no bladder or kidneys the uric acid oozes out of the skin and then is fermented for 15 days where the uric acid turns to ammonia which can burn your eyes and nose down to your lung. It's also chewy and hard to swallow.

#4 Food: Stinky Tofu
     Smells Like: Open Sewer

The tofu is mainly sold at outside vendors then inside restaurants and is usually made with: fermented milk, meat, and veggies and sometimes takes several months to prepare. Some fans say the smellier the better!

In South East Asia this "special" food is SO bad that it is actually banned in certain buildings just because of the smell and animals can even smell it from miles away.

First of all try and figure out what this if before reading on... (don't look at the sign) Anyways this is the World's Largest Meatball that the Columbus Italian Club made with 1110.5lbs of meat which is about the same amount of spray tan used during the first season of the Jersey Shore.

Try and guess what this is too before reading this, I bet you won't get it right. Well it turns out this is the world's largest Lasagna made in Poland which is 5.29 tons and 10,000 individual servings just perfect to bait Garfield.

5 "Healthy" Food Challenges

5 Healthy Food Challenges
*WARNING PUKING HAZARD*

Challenge: Drink an entire gallon of milk within an hour

What happens when you try it: Usually no one can actually finish this challenge because of the fact that it contains lactose, calcium, and casein, which are all things that your body has trouble processing when they are ingested in large takes. Too bad for this guy, who upchucks the almost entire gallon of milk that he chugs, with only a few sips left in the carton, Shame.

Challenge: Drink a pint of soy sauce

What happens when you try it: Well.. sadly just like the first when you will instantly throw up because of the salt overdose. This actually can then make you go into a coma too, more fun it gets!

Challenge: Drink an entire bottle of pure vanilla extract

What happens when you try it: This challenge sadly doesn't make you throw up but instead just tastes really really bad. It can also apparently get you drunk if you chug it and a woman actually got charged with DUI for doing so.

Challenge: Drink a bottle of Diet Coke while holding a couple of Mentos in your mouth

What happens when you try it: Everyone knows that somehow putting Mentos into a Diet Coke will make the Coke spew out like a fountain, well why not drink that fountain?? There is a rumor that this will rupture your stomach but... let's hope its not true.

Challenge: Eat six habanero peppers, 15 Warheads, two spoons of cinnamon, a handful of Mentos, a 2-liter bottle of Diet Coke, and a gallon of milk.

What happens when you do it: This is the master of all food challenges which gives you a little taste of a lot of the existing food challenges and be prepared to sweat, curse, hyperventilate, and vomit if you dare to take on this truly epic challenge.

The final and last one is a Puffin Heart found in Iceland. Which Gordon Ramsay actually ate on live TV and said the F word which made a lot of people complain to the new channel, but Icelanders find it a good cuisine.
