6 Banned Foods

7 Banned Foods (in other countries)

#1 In Singapore chewing gum is banned and cannot be bought or sold unless a doctor gives it to you. It was banned because of vandals putting it on the door sensors of monorails, floors, sidewalks, elevator buttons, and inside keyholes.

#2 The French Government banned ketchup from all school cafeterias and universities. This is because they don't want kids ruining French cuisine with the American condonement..... but they can only use it on french fries.

#3 While New York tried to ban giant soda drinks, Mississippi decided to ban the law of banning large soda drinks. Therefor saying that citizens diets aren't a concern of the government but their own....yet they have the highest obesity rating in the country.

#4 While America finds horse as companions or pets, other countries like Mongolia and China, etc. eat them all the time. Well by the 1920's was the official stop of all overall horse meat being manufactured for eating in the U.S. and UK.

#5 As sassafras is mainly made for flavoring in root beer it was later banned because it was found to have a compound that can give you cancer. Yet some say only entire plant gives you cancer and not the roots, you can still find some beers with just the root oils. (In Iraq)

#6 The final food is watermelon and it is banned in... Indiana, but only in parks as the outer shell of it has broken plenty of trash bags making lots of messes.
